I have recently been working on a project called Outer Edges which is an exploration of blank and marginal spaces. Documenting space with a minimal aesthetic has allowed me to study how blank space and the concept of emptiness can be used to provoke emotion. Through the combination of textiles and photography I have created collage piece, which allows the viewer to become more equated with the idea of the blank canvas. This allows us to question how we see the world and what we value enough to photograph.
